Honest Review: Hundred Ntrix 70 Venom + JP Magnite Strings
Recently, I ordered two strings to try with my Hundred Ntrix 70 Venom — JP58 Magnite and JP65 Magnite.
🔥 JP58 Magnite — Absolutely Killer
JP58 Magnite is probably the best setup I would recommend for the Ntrix 70 Venom. I just loved it to the core.
The control over the shuttle is excellent. Even with a nylon shuttle, the control and response are really impressive.
Once strung at 30 lbs, the racket became extremely sensitive and responsive. It felt like I didn't have to force the shuttle anymore — you could almost just guide the shuttle for placement because of the high repulsion and responsiveness.
And the repulsion is excellent. Smashes feel like a cracker burst 💥, while still maintaining very good control.
I got around 10 days of durability from it at 30 lbs. For me, that's completely understandable considering the performance.
If you're a serious or professional-level player looking for maximum performance, repulsion, sensitivity and control, I would personally choose JP58 Magnite over Exbolt 63.
However, if your priority is durability, I would still recommend BG65 Titanium or BG65 Yonex.

👟 Hundred Phenom Shoe — Good, But One Thing Needs Improvement
I've also had a good impression of Hundred products, especially the Phenom shoes and Ntrix 70 Venom racket.
The Phenom shoe has performed well for me, but I noticed one small issue compared to my Yonex 65Z.
The insole material feels slightly slippery, which means there can be a very small amount of movement inside the shoe during intense rallies.
I'm currently managing this by wearing two socks, which keeps my foot completely secure inside the shoe. So I don't have to worry about any movement during intense play.
I think improving the insole material and grip would make the Phenom even better.
⚠️ JP65 Magnite — A Very Disappointing Experience
This is where I have to be completely honest.
JP65 Magnite genuinely gave me a heartbreak.
I had built up a good impression of Hundred because of the Ntrix 70 Venom and the Phenom shoe. But this particular string actually made me question the quality control of the brand.
I don't know whether I received a defective string, damaged string or old stock, but the experience was extremely unpleasant.
The string kept breaking while I was stringing it.
I was using the same tension that I used successfully with JP58 Magnite, so I wasn't suddenly pushing the tension beyond what I had already tested.
I tried again, but the same issue continued. In the end, I had no choice but to cut the string and throw the entire set in the dustbin.
That was honestly very disappointing, especially after having such a good experience with JP58 Magnite.
What made the experience even worse was the lack of proper customer-care support. Since the string had already been used and wasted during stringing, there was apparently no replacement possible.
So it ended up feeling like a complete waste of money and time.
Please improve the quality control of this string.
I genuinely don't want products like this to remain in the Hundred lineup if this is a recurring quality issue. One bad product can create a very different impression of an otherwise good brand.
At the same time, I don't want to unfairly blame the entire JP65 Magnite line either. It's possible that I simply received a defective set or old stock. I honestly don't know.
But I'm sharing exactly what happened to me because this is my genuine experience.
Final Thoughts
My experience with Hundred overall has actually been quite positive.
Ntrix 70 Venom — ❤️🔥
I've already ordered JP58 Magnite again, because I really loved the performance of the first set.
I'm hoping the second set gives me the same quality and performance that I experienced the first time.
This is just my honest review both the good and the bad. I genuinely want Hundred to improve because the products that work well are actually very impressive.
